R.J. Braverman revolver

Post by Shep » Mon Jul 26, 2010 8:53 am

Hoping someone can provide more info on the revolver in the pics below. Made by R.J. Braverman Corp. Probably early to mid 90s.
The R.J. Braverman folding Stinger Pen Gun (not NFA) isn`t all that rare, you see them for sale now and then. But the revolver is a mystery.
.32 acp 5 shot double action only top break that folds up into its own grip. Fires from the bottom chamber of the cylinder and has a manual safety.

My best guess is that it is one of a few tool room samples built for testing, but that it was never produced commercially.

I have not seen one of these guns. It does look to me that you've been seeking information about this handgun for quite some time. I will say that through my research I did find some info that says this little folding revolver never made it into production, but it was advertised by the Braverman company. See here: http://pengun.com/NewImages/ad2.jpg I suggest you contact the owner of pengun.com and see if he can provide you with some more information on your folding revolver as he apparently has some contact with Robert Braverman. http://pengun.com/photos.htm

In the '60's I had a tear gas pencil produced by the same company. I heard they quit making them since they were easily adapted to shooting 38 specials. It was a screw in tear gas cartridge with a huge load of gas and powder.
