"The Enforcer"

Post by Hakaman » Sun Mar 07, 2010 8:20 pm

Here's some photos of "The Enforcer"(sometimes known as the Beretta Bobcat). When our club had one of them up for sale, I just had to have it. It's a 7+1 round self defense specialist. With the barrel flipped up, access to the chamber allows you to put the +1 round in. It has a safety, which I like, and it is all steel frame. One thing I have noticed is how quickly I can empty the rounds without loosing my point of aim. It is real fun to shoot, and it conceals very easily. It gets lost in my jean pocket. I just received my order of 1 case of CCI SV ammo, so I decorated the 1st photo with it.

That's adorable, I've always had a soft spot for tiny guns.
How much was it, and is it new production? (for some reason, I thought the bobcat line was discontinued)

If we're going to do a postal league, can we have a mousegun category? The requirement should be "makes 4 of 5 people snicker or giggle on sight", or "can be concealed in between the hands".

It passes both of these requirements, yet still has that "intimidating" look to it. Yes it was, BNITB.

Well now, maybe that's what those teeny, weinie, 21 foot reduced targets are for!!

Just as an aside. I had to clean up an old backup gun for a retired cop. It was an old Colt Junior in the ever popular defense round .22 SHORT!! :roll:

I have two (yes, I like them that much). They ARE my carry guns, for better or worse. Keep one clean, feed it Federal or CCI, and it works well. Some people on the Beretta Forum swear by using Stingers in their Bobcats, but mine are happy with Wally World bulk Federal HP.
Lots of posts on them here:

http://berettaforum.net/vb/index.php
* 2 Ruger Bearcat stainless, w/ EWK ejector housings & Wolff springs
* Ruger SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* 2 NAA Guardian .32ACP
* 3 Zastava M70 .32ACP
* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)
* 2 Ruger SR22 .22LR pistols

I use CCI HV or SV, Fed bulk (from walmart), and it shoots them as reliably as any SD gun. Plus I can get 7 rounds off in 2 seconds, on target(that's the hard part for most center fire guns)

That reminds me of the little .25 cal. "tilt" barrel version.

I just walked to the computer (from the table where I had been wiping down my 21A) and clicked on the Enforcer :D thread. I bought mine new MANY years ago and have never, ever had even a minor hiccup. I've shot several different loads through it, but always keep mini mags in the magazine. Honestly, I don't shoot it much any more, but I did this morning.

That rascal has been (and is right now) in my back pocket for most of my waking hours for years. I have started carrying a new J frame around a lot more often over the past few weeks, but this lil' Beretta has been a goodun'.

Have fun with your new toy.

Sorry about hogging it, but I put in my request, with CC#, and it took about 2 months. I do have some for sale: $25/50rds. LOL.
My little beretta just loves CCI ammo, and so does my Ruger Mlll.
