I shot my S&W AR22 for the first time today and everything turned out well. I
had a little problem breaking in the magazines, as the ammo was not feeding smoothly
at first, but once I shot a few rounds with them they fed rightly. From then on
the rifle shot flawlessly through 250 rds. I then put a scope on it and shot about
1" groups at 25 yds, with Rem Goldens. A couple friends and I shot some rapid
fire tests with 25 rds each and it is quite thrilling the look on their faces at the
fire power of this AR22. All in all, it was a successful day at the range, glad I
got the Smith.

thought you would like it, mine shoots great and is waiting to be used at the next range trip. Want to try some multiple target at 7 yard with the holo sight.

I am looking for an AR15 upper with a SS 24" bull barrel for max accuracy. What are your suggestions?

How much accuracy are you after, and at what cost are you looking for? Shot this and more of the same with a stock S&w 15-22 with JP trigger spring is only mod. Black center sticker I one inch sot at 50 yards rested. Gun is scoped , gun was 450 out the door, 2 years ago.

oldman, I have a number of accurate rifles but I'd still like a longer, accurate upper for my Palmetto. Uppers like the RRA are about $550 and that's not a bad price, if the accuracy is there.

I also have many rimfires that will shoot under 1 minute, and shoot them regularly, They are not safe queens or look ay me guns. I just thought that the 15-22 was not bad for a stock gun and has not cause any problems. If I had an AR lower, I might go that route, I have gus that will shoot like this on any day,

A nice upper would work well, but I would never get a conversion kit. OM is
right about the S&W's accuracy, I have one also. For a stock AR22 it shoots
very nicely. Going online and reviewing the S&W will reveal many happy
owners, just like OM and I. It is surprisingly accurate, reliable, and most of all
good fun shootin.
