- Available in 12 ga 28"and 20 ga / 28 ga / .410 ga 26"

Remington 870 Express Sale, reg. $319.00 / sale $299.98; -$30 mfr's rebate-- $269.99
- Pump action 2-3/4 or 3" shells

- 12 ga w/28" barrel in laminated hardwood or black synthetic stock
or 20 ga w/26" bbl

Stoeger Model 2000 12 ga Semi-Auto, reg. $429.99--------------------$ 379.98
- Features patented Benelli inertia bolt with its rotating locking head
- Black synthetic stock and matte black finish
- Shoots up to 3" Magnums
- 28" Barrel with vent rib and 5 choke tubes

There were several others with prices over $1,000, or only the discounts were mentioned but not the actual tag prices. I did not include these for obvious reasons.

What are my druthers? I'druther have the Stoeger because it is a 12 ga SEMI-AUTO, + shoots up to 3" Mags, + 5 choke tubes. I'll be willing to save up for it.

Second choice will be Remington 870 at $269.99!!! You can't beat that price. This is the Wingmaster model.

Interested Socal Progunners are advised to contact the nearest branch for further information as to availability and latest price.

The Silver Reserve goes on sale for $470 at Big 5. Prone to broken firing pins and has a stiff lock up... But is said to be worth the money.

Would anybody else have heard of this problem of broken firint pins with the Mossberg Silver Reserve o/u?
A bad shot is often caused by a loose nut behind the buttplate

I've had mine for 2 years and have put more than 2500 round through it without any problems. Just don't dry fire them without a spent shell in the chambers and you should be fine. I only paid $430 for it brand new also.
