Changing Profile

Post by JimK » Mon Nov 06, 2006 8:09 am

Hi Fellows, I've tried to add a avitar and can't get it done. I've tried to retrieve a pic from Photobucket to use as an Avitar, but your program wont add it. I don't have any problems adding pics ot my posts, but modifying my profile can't be none.
Help please!
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,

I have the Avatars turned on, so you should be able to load it. Be sure that your image meets the Avatar pixel size requirements. You may have to resize the picture to upload it onto the forum. You can upload it either from your CPU or from a URL by clicking the <Profile> button on the main menu.

I have taken the liberty to check out your profile on Mark III.org and I uploaded the photo you have there as your avatar. The picture was out of the pixel restrictions so I resized it to fit. As long as your picture is under the 80 x 80 size it will load. When your finished adding the URL or uploading the pic from your computer, then just select the <submit> button at the bottom of the page and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps.

R,
Bullseye
