Muzzle loader refinish

I put this together from a traditions kit 14 years ago.... or so. I decided to refinish the stock that I had only finished with linseed oil... a little sanding, stain, and tru-oil later.....
I should've taken a before pic but I forgot.

That looks really good. I've gotten to be a big fan of Tru-Oil.

Looks like you have some reactive targets setting there by it.

Birchwood Casey "Stock Sheen" is a mild abrasive that knocks the edge off of the gloss without killing the sheen. Ends up looking like a Winchester or Ruger finish.

Thanks thats the 4th gun I've done with the tru oil it has come out pretty nice each time, I think I like the glossy look so I'm going to skip thestock sheen for now, maybe....
I like the reactive targets Idea I'll need to sneak them away when the kids aren't paying attention.
