I went to the range today to test my first alteration to the front sight blade (fsb). At 30' ft with bench rest, using my favorite .357 load, I aimed at the dead center of the 2" black circle. The first shot was a 'flinch' (bottom of target, pretend it isn't there), so I buckled down and didn't flinch again. It is 12 shots, and the results are just about perfect. My 38sp's shoot a pinch higher, but that's just fine with me. As it stands, I am very happy with the results. Also included is the final result of the shape of the blade itself. I feel successful in my attempt to adjust the fsb, and zero scratches to the gun to boot.
