Ruger 77/17 All Weather

Post by neophyte » Wed Oct 31, 2007 5:32 pm

Hey Folks: you may see that I have posted a similar query at other sites.
I haven't received any knowledge :D
My shooting buddy thinks he has found a new 'Ruger 77/17 All Weather with the "flat" stock, and the embossed "Ruger"
I thought it only came in the 77/22
Did they make one? The unit is approx. 70 miles away or I'd go and look.

Thanks for any information.
Craig

I do not know if these came from the factory in this configuration or if it was a special run, but Gunbroker recently sold a stainless (blued finish) version of this model. Take a look at the pictures for yourself.

exactly the one I had pictured in my mind.
Actually I just found a site with ?Chuck Hawks picturing the same type of gun.
I still haven't figured out whether it is a stock unit of yester-year

Thanks; Craig
