ATI Fiberforce stock (Yeah I know it's cheap but I really wanted a pistol grip stock. Perhaps when I can afford it I'll upgrade, but for now it'll do.)
Weaver aluminum Quad rings
Bushnell 4-12x40 AO scope
VQ bolt buffer
VQ auto bolt release
VQ extended mag release
VQ target hammer and springs (ordered but not here yet)
muzzle brake (ordered but not here yet)
Shooters Ridge bi-pod
Steel Lips 25 round mag

Looks pretty nice for a budget stock. I hope it shoots well for you.

I hope it shoots well too. I think I'm gonna sand down the barrel channel a bit to make sure the barrel is free. It does touch at the end of the stock right now. I don't know if that will affect it's accuracy or not. It shot pretty well in the Ruger stock with the barrel band.

Sadly though I probably won't get to shoot it this weekend. Perhaps on Tuesday. :?

No need to mention the inexpensive stock. I have one still in the package and you've motivated me to do something similar with mine. You'll like it even better when your installs are done.
That is a very nice looking and I bet, effective shooter!

Check out this thread for the latest on my build. It's changed a bit in the last couple months.

Very nice rifle you have there. This TACTICAL 10-22 thing has really went crazy. Crazy enough so that I too had to put one together.

I shoot a Bushmaster 16" M4 Optics Ready Carbine for my Coyote Hunting / .223 Shooting needs. My wife kind of fell in love with the Bushmaster as she can shorten (collapse) the stock to get it to FIT her properly.

Well a buddy had a 10-22 for sale for $100.00 so I jumped on it. I then found a used Tapco T-6 Stock on the net for $90.00 (with a UTG Quad Rail that I really didn't want).

At any rate when the Tapco Stock arrived I started dreaming of how I could modify it to more closely match the look and feel of my Bushmaster.

I think the end result turned out OK, at least to my liking. It was a lot of work and planning to remodel the forend of the Tapco Stock to get the AR-15 Carbine Length Aluminum Free Float Tube attached, but in the end it was worth it.

Welcome to you both! Those are great looking rifles. One thing that I found which may only apply to mine is that I had to have a piece of rubber bicycle tube right at the end of the barrel where it leaves the stock. So, mine shoots tiny groups and likes the end of the barrel supported. Regards

I like the look of the M4-ish carbine stock.

Old threads never die - they just regurgitate over time.

What can I say guys. I haven't been here in quite a while, was doing some snooping and came across this thread. I thought maybe you'd like to see a different style of Tactical 10-22. Mine is pretty basic but serves the intended purpose.

For the record that is a Factory Carbine Barrel I had cut & recrowned at 17" while removing the front sight in the process. Not sure if that or the free floating did the trick but I am more than pleased with the accuracy.
