Plus one. My DSP shoots okay for me right out of the box. The factory walnut is right purty, too.bearandoldman wrote:Now you got the right idea, hold out for the DSP sporter, a really nice shooter. Mine does well sttxck except for the trigger and a shiny blued barrel I took off one of my older guns, and it shoots well too.
How hard is it to work on a 10/22

Did this last year with my DSP at 25 yards rested.Wolf MT shoots great and CCI subs are a close second, and a lot less costly. Seems like the ammo in the 1050 to 1080 fps velocity works the best.ruger22 wrote:Plus one. My DSP shoots okay for me right out of the box. You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.
I think all Rugers look good, except the plastic ones.........Yleefox wrote:Nice 10-22 BOAM. I love a good looking Ruger.

This is not a Ruger but it is a plastic one and the only .22LR rifle that you can feel the recoil. Had it out yesterday for a box of Blaazers. Got an old 4X Weaver on it and it will keep 10 rounds in a one inch circle, and that is about all I expect from this gun. It is a fun plonker shooter gun.ruger22 wrote:I think all Rugers look good, except the plastic ones.........Yleefox wrote:Nice 10-22 BOAM. I love a good looking Ruger.

Just trying to get you cranked up bud, it is a dull morning.

That's a nice looking Nylon 66. I used to shoot one my brother owned. I have nothing against plastic stocks or grips. They are a better choice in many cases.

It's a pretty nice gun although there is a slight crack in the forearm, but it is a good shooter. It's a 1976 manufacture. Back when they first came out IU always wanted on, but raising 5 children, I did not have the 40 bucks or so to spare. So a year or so I found this one at the LGS fur 150 bucks and bought it. I quit saving my money for my old age, I'm using it because I am old.ruger22 wrote:That's a nice looking Nylon 66. I used to shoot one my brother owned.
