I added a 3-9x32 (AR22 Series) Scope to my Henry and I am really surprised how much fun you can have with a $54. scope.

The ocular adjustment was what made the sale. With or w/o glasses, this is clear as a bell. My Son-in-law gave me a Leupold 4x that I can't see out of but see perfectly with the 3-9x.

I look out of the mid-bottom of my lineless bifocals when shooting the pistol, but I have to look out of the top when shooting the rifle. The scope solved my problem of shooting the rifle while looking out of the top of my glasses, plus the scope ring height gives me a tad more ear muff room and I can keep my head vertical rather than bent 45 degrees sideways.

The way things are in general these days, I try my best to avoid anything made in China. Even today at a fun show a Kershaw knife caught my eye and to my dismay it read China on the blade, while other Kershaw models next to it were marked USA. I left it on the table.

I hope your scope works out for you.

Me2. If it falls apart, we will have a good discussion here.

I've noticed that most Buck knives are Chinese now, too. I NEVER thought Buck would go that route. At least the original brass lock blade and original fixed blades are still U.S.A. , last I looked.

You can't blame the big companies for going where the labor costs are the least expensive because they've got to remain competitive pricewise.
