I can't wait to brag on this one...
I was at the (new) Cabela's, N. of FtW this afternoon.
I spotted something in the pistol case that I had to check out.
It was a Ruger MK10, I looked up the s/n... made in '84
It is REALLY-clean, some modest-wear on the blue-finish
and the bore is Spit-Polish.
Turns out, it was put in the display-case prematurely,
it had not had its "two week" waiting-period, so, I get the gun,
but have to wait until it clears the check...
They were apologetic... but I told the Mgr that *if* he put it
out later in the month, someone else is more likely to have
snatched it up... so, my Mark-I and my 22/45 are "expecting"
a BIG-brother soon.

Will this be able to "share" my MK-I magazines??
or do I get to order some more Mag-parts ;)

It will accept your Mark I magazines if they have the follower button on the left hand side of the mag body. The later Mark I's, 1972 and later, had the follower buttons on the same side as the MarK II/IIIs do today.
