Taurus 94 and ammo

Post by greener » Tue Dec 16, 2014 9:13 am

My last range outing included shooting my 94 snubbie.

Winchester: well-dented cases with click, click, click, bang. Mostly failure to fire.

Golden Bullets: Almost all fired

Federal 40gr lead: no failures to fire.

The ammo I've been finding lately are the Winchester 100 packs. Time to play around with the Taurus firing pin and look for ammo it likes, I suppose. Just think, RGB's being the better firing ammo.

The last Win 22 ammo I had the bullets were varying in dia. So some would not seat properly into the chamber. If this is the case you just need to make sure they all all the way in. It seams to dependent on Lot #, for some work fine. I have not bought any more since I had this problem. They were fairly accurate.
