Ruger Mark II

Post by jstanfield103 » Fri Mar 02, 2012 7:13 am

I used to have two Mark III's ( Hunter & Competition) I sold them to help pay for my S&W Model 41. No regrets the model 41 is twice the gun the Rugers are. I have all my Target pistols scoped. I found a need for a varmint gun or a gun that I can use that is unscoped, found a 1989 Ruger Mark II 5.5" Barrel for $200.00. I bought it without blinking. Finish is not perfect but for a gun that old it really in really good shape. Took the gun apart, do think it was ever apart before ( had to use a nylon hammer)cleaned it up, very nice gun. Glad I bought it, I kno the Ruger will shoot anything put into the chamber and won't malfunction period.
Glad to be back with Ruger Mark series again. It's been awhile.
