Yet another new Ruger:

I'm still waiting for them to make a solid stainless one with traditional grips........
* 2 Ruger Bearcat stainless, w/ EWK ejector housings & Wolff springs
* Ruger SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* 2 NAA Guardian .32ACP
* 3 Zastava M70 .32ACP
* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)
* 2 Ruger SR22 .22LR pistols

They are going wild with tweaks and innovations. I guess I have to place the LCR .22 in the same "need" bin as the .22 SP101. Too bad I bought the 2" Taurus 94.

I wonder how much heavier they made the hammer spring so it would reliably fire rimfire ammo.

Here is the Gunblast review of it. Gives the trigger pull as a "butter smooth" 7 lbs, 11 oz.

We know how "unbiased" these reviews are, but there are several detail photos.

I'm a big fan of rimfire trainers.

If I had a LCR, this would be a "must buy" item.
I wonder how many fed550 bulk packs it would take for it to pay for itself? 550 rounds for about $20 compared to whatever a box of 357mag or 38sp (cue reloader spiel) costs ... I'd imagine a LCR22 would be worth it for serious shooters, or it mighty help a $$ limited shooter be able to get good practice.

That was the excuse I came up with when I bought the 2" Taurus 94. I didn't want to spring the bucks for an S&W 617 or 317. If you reload, the cost penalty for centerfire ammo is not as great. The lightweight pocket snubbies like the S&W 442 tend to beat on you a bit if you shoot a lot in one session. .22's are much easier on old hands.

A little pocket 8 shot .22 revolver like the LCR (or S&W 317, Taurus 94) are good trainers, fun shooters and pretty easily packed varmint guns. Although I'm not sure why a .38 spl LCR wouldn't dispatch varmints almost as well.

I love my 617 revolver, and I would imagine this would be alot of fun as well.
I do carry my Beretta Bobcat on occasion, and would not hesitate to carry this
in it's place. When I do carry a 22, I make sure I use high quality, reliable ammo.
