I'm a big fan of rimfire trainers.
If I had a LCR, this would be a "must buy" item.
I wonder how many fed550 bulk packs it would take for it to pay for itself? 550 rounds for about $20 compared to whatever a box of 357mag or 38sp (cue reloader spiel) costs ... I'd imagine a LCR22 would be worth it for serious shooters, or it mighty help a $$ limited shooter be able to get good practice.

That was the excuse I came up with when I bought the 2" Taurus 94. I didn't want to spring the bucks for an S&W 617 or 317. If you reload, the cost penalty for centerfire ammo is not as great. The lightweight pocket snubbies like the S&W 442 tend to beat on you a bit if you shoot a lot in one session. .22's are much easier on old hands.bigfatdave wrote:I'm a big fan of rimfire trainers.

A little pocket 8 shot .22 revolver like the LCR (or S&W 317, Taurus 94) are good trainers, fun shooters and pretty easily packed varmint guns. Although I'm not sure why a .38 spl LCR wouldn't dispatch varmints almost as well.
