Mk.II Adjustable Grips

Post by mg66 » Wed Aug 30, 2006 9:30 am

I remember seeing some Ruger pics on one of the forums and there was some walnut adjustable grips for the Mk.II. Someone add a reply with the url. I believe the company was in Illinois somewhere. These particular adjustable walnut grips were under $100, I think $88. I think the model of this particular style were called national match target grips or something similar. The company also produces competition grips for 1911s etc.

I am aware this is a tall order but does anyone know the company name and/or website url.

I have spent countless hours over the last two weeks searching the internet for this site ... yes I forgot to bookmark it at the time ... guess I just had one of my ever increasing senile moments.

Thanx in advance.

Herrett also makes these grips too.

They're currently listed as $37.50. The National Match grips has the adjustable heel panel and goes for $78.00 for the Mark II version. You can adapt them for the Mark III buy cutting the underside like the Hogues for the magazine release hold down screw.
