Bullseye! I've finally decided to do something about that trigger in my MKIII Hunter. The VQ looks pretty good, but I've been reading some of the posts where the guy's arn't too happy with them. Do you like the VQ kits or do you prefer one of the other brands?
Thanks,
Jim

First, I need to know what you want to do with your trigger in your Mark III Hunter. Here's a couple of suggestions.
The VQ trigger kit has a lot of redundant parts and sells for near $100. But you don't need all that stuff and can make your trigger have a very decent near 2 pound pull with just a VQ target sear alone.
If your also interesed in a replacement trigger, then VQ's Mark III trigger has an overtravel and pretravel screw preinstalled in it. Or, you could go with a Marvel trigger that has both screws in it too. Otherwise, you'd have to install a pretravel screw into whatever other trigger you decide on. If you like the'factory trigger in your Hunter then you could add the pretravel screw to it also.
The VQ parts can be obtained very inexpensively at Rimfire Sports and Custom
Hope this helps.
