Where to go for instruction in basic shooting form

Hi Folks,
I would like to know where to go to get some instruction on pistol shooting form and techniques. Are there any books available that might be at the local library or any reccomended reading materials? I would suspect that the local shooting clubs might have instructors, but you never know what you're going to get as far as accurate information and instruction.

The USAMU Pistol Guide is a great reference for learning the basics of competition pistol shooting. It is available free online for downloading on Bullseyepistol.com

Thank you for the tips. I can at least get started on the USAMU guide and go from there. Obviously I need to practice as well and shoot a lot.
