Perhaps confirming some of bgreen's thoughts the blue truck's(gun fight winner) attorney has said the the white mustang (deceased) fired one shot at blue truck and blue truck defended himself successfully. Still no charges yet. Regards

ALAS, a great idea that will never happen. Small units will always be allowed to spec tools that fit special warfare requirements. The 9mm is the result of deep water politics infringing into weapons acquisition with fact obscured by false premise to support goals that have nothing to do with what t...

bgreen, I'll bet that you are spot on with your possible scenario. Of course some of our citizens are quick to point the gun fight survivor as the criminal, and the deceased as a pure victim. We will see and I'll let you guys know as this runs it's course. Regards

The passenger (girlfriend of deceased) was in the white mustang. She is the only witness to make a media statement and she said that the blue truck (winner of gun fight) said that "your boyfriend shouldn't have pointed a gun at me" which could be the only thing that perhaps makes the firearms part p...

You're right Bullseye the vehicles were it seems ramming each other and are deadly weapons which is a fact lost on many who only want to discuss the firearms and why anyone would need to have a gun in a vehicle, and are focused on the police lack of an arrest as a failure of the system. The good new...

We have no detail at this time as to if these were CCW guys or not, or if any substance was involved. This occurred mid afternoon. You are correct that handguns can be in vehicles with out CCW. I suspect that if the blue truck had been a felon or impaired he would have been hooked up on the spot. I'...

Road Rage

A blue truck was driving down a city street and had to stop for a slow turning vehicle. This angered a young man in a white mustang who passed and cut sharply in front of the blue truck. They somehow began a version of bumper cars ramming each other until they came to a rest on the median and the dr...

WOW! What a chilling cut a way picture. I'll bet that this is something that could happen to almost all of us if we were shooting timed competition events where the focus is on a win where hundred's of seconds determine winning/losing. Regards

I don't see why not if many are requesting. I see a lot of activity by those who shoot the service rifles and I do enjoy staying up on them even if I don't shoot them myself anymore. Regards

Welcome Mercedes! Nice write up with good information. When I first bought my HENRY I loved the rifle, but had a block about the "plastic" parts. I researched the two parts and armed with the numbers/price called HENRY with credit card in hand to order the metal versions which still in my mind made ...

Thanks to you guys I've recalled what certainly is up there in the ranking of stupid. I had a Thomson Contender with a 223 ported 16" barrel. I was doing some load development and had my best muffs as this was without doubt the loudest thing I've ever shot. This was a hot Texas day, and the muffs ca...

Years ago one of my pals was planning on doing some load testing after work with his 44 mag blaster and he put the pistol in it's bag on top of his car while he loaded all of his gear. You guessed it, in the dark hurry to get to work he forgot the pistol which left the scene somewhere in his 25 mile...

WOW, These guys have had really bad luck with weapons! " ALE agents have been issued new assault rifles after leaders determined their $1,495 Swiss-made Sig Sauer rifles, bought in 2006, weren't up to snuff, either." Federal (Taxpayer" $$$ to buy, and then sell them back to themselves at half price ...
