Seems that this was a Photoshop effort. The story is real and the Marine was stabbed but is OK. The perp was held for police but didn't suffer the beat down :(

I ran into the same issue in 22rf 50 yard benchrest match shooting where you have 20 minutes to shoot a 25 bull target. I would finish in 10 minutes and be waiting for the 20 minutes to elaspe with many shooters using every second of the 20 minutes. This is a game off understanding wind conditions a...

Thanks Blue & Bullseye, it is a 9 spin. The other good news is that I had an 8 lb keg of that AA2520 in my stash from my 308 loads. Regards

It Is Starting to Shoot!

Some of you know I've been doing load testing and barrel breakin on a new Savage Model 12 LRVP 223, Now with 130 rounds fired at 100yds holding to proper barrel break in procedures and dealing with very hot conditions things are coming together. Target #1 is AA2520 under a Sierra 69g BTHP. The botto...

Years ago a pal of mine acquired a new 44 Mag. His Father and I went out to shoot it and as this was spring time in Alaska we were standing in a mud/snow slush when his Father was given the honor of the first shot. The pistol did a flip and buried itself in the muck :(

Great Score! I'll bet that the 30=30 still holds the record for the most game harvested. Regards

Thanks blue and bgreen, this is a departure from the 22rf benchrest shooting I've been doing the last few years. I'm lucky to have a place to shoot 500 yds. Regards

Jack, American Eagle 357 158 Jacketed SP has been really accurate in my Marlin and does not break the bank. I only shoot 357 and never 38 so that I don't get a 38 "ring" in my 357 chamber. Now when I reload my 357 cases I prefer more of a 38 power load. Regards 50 yds http://i3.photobucket.com/album...

My New Blaster

I wanted to play further than my usual 50 yd 22RF benchrest, like out to 500 yds. I believe this Savage M12 LRPV 223 will do the job if I do mine 8)

I love the way you mounted a rifle on that scope 8) Just kidding! It looks like a stock that feels right when you shoulder it. Regards

Not any 204 shooters here it seems. Due to the simple fact that I have dies, etc for 223 I ordered my new long range rifle in 223. Regards
