Now that I've got things set up as I intended, I'm looking for a way to holster the bad boy!
Is anyone making a holster that can accommodate a MKII with a red dot or is this a modification project?
Thanks for any and suggestions!

That's a great suggestion. I put a set of righties on my MKII and they are a real improvement. Very comfortable and the price is right! I never get tried of showing my old "now new" MKII :D Also here: http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=146217&t=11082005 http://img.photo...

Took The MKII For A Test Drive!
Well I finally found the perverbial window of opportunity to fire my MKII with the Millet Red Dot. WOW! It was incredible. :D First know that I sacked this gun several years ago because my old eyes just couldn't do the open sites any longer. :x Then my buddy let me shoot his MKII w/ dot...and I was ...

greener, At first I was scratchin' my head llike boomer but then I thought back to a set of Burris' I had which were too tight to fit on to a standard Weaver rail. It's not the rail but the rings if it's like mine. I called Burris.....they told me to carefully tweak (spread) them enough to go. They ...

GOT IT! :D This Weigand was straight forward thanks to Bullseye! I'm very impressed with the clean look and tight fit. I used Loctite 242 (blue) on all the threads. Here it is freshly "Eezox'd" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/Rimfire01/MKIIwDot4.jpg I plan on letting it sit for a day and then...

That's good to hear, Bullseye! To get back to the original post, I have managed to gather 4-5 Ruger mags over the years back at the good old prices. Recently I picked up several Mec-gar mags as well. I hope they perform similarly to the Rugers. I'll be trying my new Ultimate Clip Loader and I've als...

Thanks, gcp! Lookin' forward to it! Bullseye, I went with the Millet SP-1 Hopefully its a good set up with the "smithless" Weigand. I have to say...getting a red dot just extended my MKII shooting in terms of these old eyes! Now I'll just press my nose up to the glass and wait for the delivery! :D SD
