Thanks for the post. Proabably will get one at that price. Got their bargain bin sear when they had them a few months back and it worked perfectly.

VQ sear
The VQ sear is the single best upgrade for the trigger. Mine worked perfectly but I have seen posts about some people having problems. VQ will replace any sear that does not work. They recently (about a year ago)changed the manufacturing process and may of had some tolerance issues but current produ...

no drill mount
Put a weigand mount on my mk.3 6" stainless yesterday. The install went well although a little filing on the insert was neccessary. The plus side is that once it is made to fit the dovetail it is a very secure interferance fit. I used an alluminum rod to remove the old sight and install the new inse...

442
My wife has a 442. She bought it because it was small and light . I think the trigger is much too heavy and because it is D.A. only and has no hammer you are stuck with an 11 lb. pull. She had the reduced power spring put in by a gunsmith but it does not seem much better.

Sig or Buckmark
My wife bought the Mosquito because it was small and light. She now likes my Mk.3 6" a lot. The trigger on the Mosquito leaves a lot to be desired with a much heavier pull and a lot of take up. It is easy to clean (she likes that). I have fired a buckmark and did not mind the trigger although my Mk....

Front sight
On my mark 3 I have a piece of self adhesive label material (white) on the front sight. I then used a Flourescent Marker (hot pink) and colored it in.
It has a nice contrast with the rear sight, black target and white range wall.
If you find it does not work for you, peel it off.

Front sight
I too have been trying to improve my shooting with stock sights on my mark 3. I recently put a piece of white label material on my front sight to contrast with the black target. After trying it I felt it helped. Next step was coloring it with a "hot pink" magic marker. So far I think this is working...

Bargain bin sear
Just want to let everyone know that the bargain bin sears work perfectly.
They are not rejects but are made by thier "old" manufacturing process.
I recently installed one in my Mark 3 and it works perfectly and cost only $12.

Gun safe
The one Bullseye referenced looks real nice. If you are looking for something less expensive you might want to check Harbor Freight. I recently bought a Digital Safe from them for $40 on sale. It is 13"x10x10 and has holes in both the bottom and back for bolting down. They have some smaller ones als...

I put the Sear only in my Mark 3 and was very pleased. FYI - Volsquartsen
is selling "old stock" sears in their clearance section of the web site for about half of the usual price. You might want to install their extractor also if you have not done so yet.

Extractor removal
I recently had the same problem while attempting to replace the extractor in my Mk.3. The solution I came up with was to place a screwdriver on top of the plunger ( in the crack) and hold downward pressure on the plunger while pulling up on the extractor which pushes back on the plunger. I then let ...
