Thank you, Kaz. I hadn't really ever paid all that much attention to the little gun, but it does have some nice stripes. Had it at the range today shooting Win 333 and Fed 510b. I had left my ammo bag home and luckily had a box of the 333 and 2 of the 510s in my necessary bag in the truck. The Win 3...

Now that is the way we like to see them. And that is also what we expect and receive from these little beauties. I am heading for the range in a couple hours myself. Should stay here and plant winter flowers, but that can wait until this afternoon. I may take a handgun or 2 along with the Mossy 44b ...

Well, I thought of something else you had said. I promise this will be my last post for the morning. The problem you are having with the Fiocchi bullets is because of the weird shape of the bullet. The round will want to cant to the side in the magazine tube under pressure. If you just kind of finne...

BOAM. Still raining and nasty down here. I don't think I will get to the range. I will try to get a pic or to in here. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm193/varmithunter/Browning%20ATD%20Belgium/ATDSIM22MAG.jpg Here is a target I rattled off just about as quickly as I could... I guess I nee...

Hey, BOAM! Greetings and halucinations... When I saw your pet I thought you had a Browning. My little '62 wheel sight says 'Hello." They are truly one of the funnest guns ever. I cut my teeth (literally) on the Rem 24 when I was 5 (1946) and got the Belgium in 1962. I don't have time to put up a pic...

My BH and I will mark 40 years early in November. She really doesn't begrudge me any of my purchases. Lordy knows, I don't give her much static. But right now with the state furloughing us a couple days a month, I kind of need to watch my $$ if you know what I mean. But the Savage and the Remington ...

BAOM, what was the ball park price on Marjie. You know you are making me extremely envious. You may also be making me extremely broke! I bought an Intensity 4.5x12 -44 mm AO, but after receiving it , it was entirely to large to use on the rifle I had intended. Now I am selling it to get the Bushnell...

I have the new barrel and sight assembly on, but haven't had a chance to take it out and shoot it. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm193/varmithunter/100_1499.jpg Trying out a red dot on my medalist now. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm193/varmithunter/100_1504.jpg BTW, BAOM, Remlette wanted...

I forgot to mention I also installed a new firing pin. That, with the other changes, corrected my FTFs big time. It really does shoot good. My favorite handgun. I really don't expect to see any improvement with the new barrel (other than cosmetically looking better), but you never know. Range report...

Challenger II's new barrel
I have my new barrel and rear sight assembly installed. Now I need to go try it out. The rear sight assembly has been improved over the original '77 version. A set screw on the under side may be loosened to allow drifting the rear sight if required without having to use a drift punch. I also install...
