You're absolutely right Bullseye. Problem is I never shoot off hand. Even when out hunting I always use some sort of rest, most generally crossed shooting sticks.

Very nice. Ya just gotta love a Ruger MKII Handgun. In fact there is something about .22 LR's in general that just seem to make them endure themselves to us forever. I have a 1992 vintage Ruger MKII Stainless-Steel 5 1/2" Bull Barrel that was my late brothers. After my brother passed my Sister in La...

I sure wish we could build a 100 yard indoor, undergroun firing lane at our club, but don't see it happening anytime soon. Our member ship has been slipping the past few years, and we are just hanging on. In fact every year we run a fund raiser raffle to help offset the costs of running an indoor ra...

Most of the Rugers I have done lately with the Volquartsen Custom Target Sear have also ended up at 1 1/2 pounds. But then I too polished the hammer slightly.

Clark Custom Guns are just great people to work with. A while back I had a Ruger MKIII and was having a hard time getting my Clark Custom Guns Steel Ruger Trigger fitted to it. I phoned Clark Custom Guns and the nice lady connected me to one of the gunsmiths. The gunsmith told me a few things to try...

Thanks Bullseye. Actually I have not tried it out on an A-17 Target. I really SUCK at Off Hand Shooting, and may be the worlds worst off hand rifle shot. This Rifle may be a tad heavy for this old country boy to shoot off hand anyway at 10 1/4 pounds. I have had it out a few times shooting Gophers f...

Thanks

That target was shot at our indoor shooting range at 18 yards (the farthest distance we can get in our range) in the middle of January.

Outdoors at 50 yards the scores run in the mid 220's so far.

My idea of my DREAM RIFLE, Rimfire of course.

I have long been a Rimfire Fanatic. I have also been a long time fan of the Ruger 77/22 Rimfire Rifles. In fact many, many years ago I actually wrote a letter asking Ruger why they hadn't come out with a Rimfire Rifle basically the same size and shape as their Ruger M77R Centerfire Rifles. To my ama...

What can I say guys. I haven't been here in quite a while, was doing some snooping and came across this thread. I thought maybe you'd like to see a different style of Tactical 10-22. Mine is pretty basic but serves the intended purpose. For the record that is a Factory Carbine Barrel I had cut & rec...

Very nice rifle you have there. This TACTICAL 10-22 thing has really went crazy. Crazy enough so that I too had to put one together. I shoot a Bushmaster 16" M4 Optics Ready Carbine for my Coyote Hunting / .223 Shooting needs. My wife kind of fell in love with the Bushmaster as she can shorten (coll...

I too ordered a Volquartsen Sear right from Volquartsen a couple weeks ago. If I remember right it was $22.00 plus $9.95 shipping. This is the second Volquartsen Sear I have installed in a Ruger MKIII. One was a MKIII Hunter for a buddy and the second was in my Ruger MKIII 22/45. The trigger pull en...

In regards to the Herrett National Match Stocks, I am curious if a set of these for a 1911 would fit onto a MKIII 22/45 that has had the Grip Modification done to allow the use of 1911 Grips on a MKIII 22/45.

Thanks
