Thanks. That's the second referral to Bushnell I've seen. Lot of ATN stuff out there too.

Night Vision Equipment

Anybody here have it?

I'm looking into it. Surfing so far indicates that my price range will put me into Generation 1 equipment (around $200 is my max).

I'm thinking more binocular/monocular than scopes.

Any experience, recommendations or sources appreciated.

Actually, no...

I have a hard enough time keeping my levers fed. A semiauto would put me in the poorhouse

No self-control, ya know...

The concept of a "tactical" .22 pretty much eludes me too, but I'm well known as a reactionary old fart anyway.

SWMBO and I were having that very discussion just today. How is it that the 5 months from May to September go by in a flash, and the 3 months from January to March take about 12 years? :? :(

I like to shoot clay pigeons off the backstop. Reactive, easy to see, biodegradable so no cleanup to worry about. I've gone through several cases, and can't remember the last time I used a shotgun on one.

Need to take my Convertible out too, ain't shot it in quite a while...

Nice! I carry one at work, and between maintaining my qualifications and spending a week at the NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor school, I have put many, MANY rounds through one. Wouldn't be my first choice for SD/CCW due, as you say, to the design of the decocker/safety and the weight, but a...

And, ummmm, lemme see here...1,2,3,4...5...6...ummmmm 7 dispensers for it.

Not that I like .22's or anything...

My choice was based on the assumption that it would fit my location and my circumstances. If I were in the Great Plains, that would obviously change. In the puckerbrush I have to hunt in, a 12ga is plenty.

Yer right about the ammo tho.

No brainer: 12ga shotgun.

00 buck for hunting/defense, slugs for big critters, birdshot for little 'uns.

Excellent snag! I don't "need" another .38 either, but I'd have been all over that deal like white on rice!

I'm interested. I'm guessing you'd ship to a local FFL?
