That was someone I do know.. :D (BTW.. it's SPF.. now.. who's the lucky guy?! ) but seriously.. there was absolutely NOTHING for several weeks .. until I posted WTB ... I did receive several offers ... I settled on one Monday. Seems like people are not motivated to sell their Ultradot .. until they ...

Shopping for an USED Ultradot ? Here's a good deal.
Came across this ad on Calgun. Looks like in great condition and the price is very fair. I think it is good deal. I do not know the seller in any shape or form.

Thanks, Yleefox. Greener: indeed my search for an used Hogue (with TB) has begun.. just nothing yet out there.. but I'm in no hurry :-) I've ordered a Weigand (in transit)... still uncertain if I'm to use it / keep it due to the taller profile... oh well, time will tell. Still undecided on sight.. l...

The rail height between the MGW and the Weigand are pretty much the same. R, Bullseye Tks for the feedback, Bullseye. I will just buy whichever has a good deal to show up first then. BTW, I saw that Midway has the Weaver rail on sale again.. $20-ish + shipping. Sound like a good deal for those who ...

Yes I would buy this setup again. That's a Vorquartsen rail, with a TruGlo red dot site. A drop of locktite keeps everything in place. It's very easy to acquire your target with this site. It's a VERY nice rail, but too bad I have to look else where.. my STD is not drilled/tapped. Although I ...

Bulleseye: thanks for the suggestion, Hogue is on my list... I also like wood grips too.. Hogue surely looks "tactical" while wood grips look classic... I will surely have a hard time to decide when I'm ready to replace the grips. Ruger22: I did come across several of your write ups.. they are very ...

Does yours look like this? http://www.mountsplus.com/AR-15_Accessories/AR-15_Scope_Rings/105-WVR-4863XX.html Way back in the day, Weaver made a no hole mount for Ruger Auto Pistols. The part # is/was 08606. I still have one new in box I never used, that I purchased back in 1981/1982 or so for my (th...

New-to-me MkIII Standard 6" SS: "hard to strip&qu
My new-to-me arrived today, LNIB condition is as advertised, BOD is March 2010. This is my FIRST rimfire pistol and also my FIRST Ruger Mk series, I like it so far: it feels very natural and has good balance in my hand. The factory grips will eventually go as I prefer thumb rest and a little thicker...

Thanks, Baldy... never knew there are 40mm scope.. gotta take a look at it. BTW, is that a MGW mount that you have? How you like it? Some has expressed that the single screw may be an issue... but I think that it MIGHT not be an issue for a low recoil .22 AND on a stationary receiver. Would you buy ...

Thanks for the welcomes! I went to Sportsman warehouse today, they don't have much but I did get to try out the Vortex SPARC .. my very 1st time to look through a red dot.. I like it at 1x, but very difficult with the 2x, not much eye relief. SPARC comes with the Vortex's lifetime warranty but the p...

Ruger MKIII pencil/fixed sight: mount option(s)?
Hi, I'm a newbie to the site, and newbie to rimfire pistol. I recently purchased a Ruger SS 6" standard with fixed sight (which is in-transit), it will be my first rimfire handgun and probably will not be the last. :D My aging eyesight relies on optic to shoot and I plan to add a red dot to it.. how...
