Re: New Style Format

Well, it looks good. Trying the reply options here .....On some other forums, bold, font, underline, etc. have stopped working for me. ( ? ) Good, I just looked at the Preview, and they work here. I've been through my CP and set everything right. Now where is the "Posts since last visit" button? I ...

I think the best holster style for open or "semi-concealed" (under a jacket) would be cross-draw. Works equally well standing or sitting, like driving a vehicle. The Colt and S&W you mention are a bit large for concealed.

My concealed choice is a LCR snubbie, in a Galco IWB or Nemesis pocket holster.

Wouldn't one of these smaller rock tumblers from HF be a better bet?

Several of the reviews claim they work great for brass tumbling.

That happened 30 odd miles from me, and WDBJ is about a mile from my house. At least the woman reporter's father had a carefully worded statement, about doing more to keep crazy people from getting guns, but not restricting other's gun rights. The Hildabeast was the first presidential candidate to p...

As to gun prices, I had to really think over buying my SP-101 .22, at $585 out the door. It was actually a good deal since MSRP is $719. Ruger used to raise prices once a year, now it seems to be three times. I guess that's why they no longer have printed catalogs. Ammo at all three of my local big ...

I don't know if I'll ever get "used to" that big optic front blade. I still hope that eventually someone will aftermarket a regular blade replacement. My shoulder has been a nuisance for two weeks. I can't leave it alone long enough for major improvement. Healing has been two steps forward, one step...

.22 SP-101 at range

Finally made it today, to try my new SP and Wolff springs. Three hours and 300 rounds later, I think I like it. I have a strained shoulder from work (spinning a bus steering wheel all week can do it), and the SP is heavier than what I've been shooting, so I had a hard time getting the sight elevatio...

I've never been much of a semi-auto fan. I like the mechanical movement, the clicks and ticks of revolvers.

I am a big fan of Wolff springs. If you have any revolver, even if you think it's fine, Wolff springs will likely make it better.

Finally got the Wolff springs in my .22 SP-101

First order, they sent the wrong 14# hammer spring. I re-ordered an assortment, and they sent that free. I just got it in the mail. The 14# in the re-order is still the wrong spring in the right package. Apparently someone doesn't want me using a 14#..... I've installed a 13# hammer spring an...

I would have liked to shoot, but rained most of Fourth and I'm still waiting on correct springs for SP from Wolff anyway. Rained most of yesterday, and some heavy rain this morning. Messed up my yardwork, too, past due and soggy. I hope everyone else had a dry Fourth......

Got a Wolff email to call Dave. Dave said they goofed. He said he will check a full assortment of springs for me and send them no charge.

That is great customer service. And a relief that it wasn't the right spring leaving my gun so stiff....... :)

I think they sent the wrong hammer spring. It was twice the length of the factory spring, and a bear to install. I had to use two nylon wiring ties to compress it enough to get the seat on. This is supposed to be a 14 pound spring. I put 18 pounders in my Bearcats with my bare fingers. With the gun ...

The news I heard was that the escapee was in critical condition and may not make it. Not exactly precision shooting.
