+1 on the Blazer

We have been getting them for $12.88 per brick at the LGS. At that price, I am tempted to make ALL my .22s love it as much as I do.

I only wish Blazer offered lower velocity choices as well.

laws don't stop crime laws can't stop crazy If a law were passed today regarding the hi-cap mags in Arizona--they don't simply vaporize. Facts are facts--more guns, less crime--somebody should have put him down shortly after he tragically shot his first victim. All of the evidence shows that he was ...

My buddy also has the Bearcat on his "must have" list and has already been in touch with the largest Ruger collector/appraiser/dealer in the area and will be meeting him at this weekend's gun show to pick one for his very own. He has always wanted and will get one in the 1977 (maybe) range. I don't ...

I'm not sure why I've gone all "old school" at only 41 years of age, but aside from a pair of rimfire semi-autos, I've traded or sold every carry gun other than revolvers. Simple and reliable, but the tradeoff is, of course, 5 shots. I've got an airweight model 36 (almost identical to your 37) and 2...

polish brand and tips

I asked on another forum board, but didn't get good feedback that is the norm on here. I am looking to hand polish a few surfaces in the action of an older Glenfield 60, the guide rods and hammer on a Rem. 597, the bolt on another rimfire or 2, etc. Some areas will be purely cosmetic while others ar...

dragging up an older thread here, but... I just picked up a new Mossberg Maverick 88 Security at a chain sporting good store today for $189 plus tax. With 4 purchases in the last 60 days my gun funds are now GONE for a while and couldn't see paying $120 more for a similar home defense shotgun. It ha...

with EMT tubing (right size) a bench grinder will do most of the work. and a file will dress it up. When looking at the 'Midway" pic, imagine it without a handle. When you have the tube shaped right, back up the pipe about an inch (clearance for the nut) and drill a hole through both walls for a sc...
