The holographic sights are suppose to have a wider view, and you do not need to have the gun perfectly aligned with the target. So target acquisition is faster, with the larger dots. Since they are shooting plates, bullseye accuracy is not needed, scopes have have smaller dots, better accuracy. 9mm ...

I was responding to a new post. Did not realize that the thread was that old. I will be using my Mec Jr this summer.... Using up some old WW powder from the early 80's.... If I recalled I use to WW454 for 12 ga, 540 for 20ga, I would have to look on my shelf to see whats there. I did notice I have a...

Well of all of the ammo shortages, shotgun bird loads was not one of them. And in most cases the 209 primers have been everywhere I have looked. I've been using a Mec 600 Jr for 30+ years. I have only used mfg reload data put out by powder mfg. If your not going to use a fixed volume shot bar or bus...

Bullseye, Yes that helps, I do notice that my weak side hand is higher up under the slide, but under the take down lever. This allow me to handle the recoil easier, gun returns back on the target. Some instructors now are saying that the weak hand should do 60-70% of the grip, allowing the strong ha...

Hakaman, a nice looking holster. Does it have metal in it to keep the holster holster open? I have been using a MTAC type holster that I made for my Sig229. I like the fact that you can tighten the belt with out increasing pressure on the gun. Mine is lined and has a sweat barrier on the leather con...

Bullseye thanks for explaining the proper grip for target shooting. I all ways wondered what was the correct way. I only know one friend that shoots that way, 1 hand and stance. I was never taught how to shoot bullseye target shooting. I was taught to shoot with 2 hands weaver stance not isocilies (...

I only use the scope if I'm going to be shooting past 15 yrds, or hunting for the furry tail rats. My aging eyes need helps past that mark. I like the fact that I can remove the scope and does not change the sighting when I put it back on. I currently have the smallest red insert in the front site. ...

Mine would be my SS MKIII 6 7/8" that I picked up a couple of months ago. Since then I have added the Clark bushing, VQ Exact Extractor, removed the mag safety, and polished the hammer and sear. The scope is a Bushnell 2x, not sure I like it. It does not quite give me enough eye relief for my long a...

Those stocks are stunning to say the least. I put them with guns that are engraved and gold inlay. USELESS can not shoot them without destroying the value. Now if your a collector and that's all you do, collecting is fine.

You probably had a round that did not have the primer. I have heard of several reports on bulk ammo. Federal 510 has seamed to have the most duds, some report as many as 30 in a box of 550. Even 1 on CCI which is normally works 100% of the time. If you pull the bullet you can find out. Then look ins...

Just a shot in the dark, The trigger has a little tab that is suppose to push the magazine in if it is not fully seated. If you have set the pre travel on the trigger set it can cause this to interfere with the magazine. Look inside the receiver and see if this is contacting the magazine. I had to g...

B-Square makes a mount that leaves the original sights inplace. I'm not sure there still available. My neighbor has on one his MKII. I will see if I can locate a link for you. It is baiscly like a pair of 3 facing each other. 1 clamps the scope while the other clamps the gun. The one that Bullseye r...
