Moly coated bullets ?

Anyone use these instead of the wax coated bullets? I bought a bunch for my Python from Billy Bullets(148gr DEWC) and they seam to shoot great, but am wondering about the .45. I bought some Laredo's and some Silver State(200gr SWC) that I have been using in the RRA.(both shoot great at the 50ft line...

Weigand mount for M41

Anyone use or have experience with these mounts ?

I am so impressed with the Match dot sight on my RRA that I am going to mount one on the M41.

Thanks in advance.

Loaded 50 rds of 200 gr LSWC over 4.2 gr of Bullseye. All 50 rnds went without a hitch. This trigger is sweet....

only if you suspect a specific issue My issue is if I feel that the trigger is getting gritty or the revolver just does not feel like butter as it was. I do not detail strip(remove all components and clean individually). In a S&W or a Colt, I remove the side plate. In a Ruger I remove the trigger as...

Greener; Keeping the cylinder clean has nothing to do with the rotation or lock work in a revolver. The internal lock work has to be cleaned and lubricated very often or you get binding. When you get inside of your pistol, what is clean to you is dirty to me. I have an advantage. I do all of my own ...

Rock River Arms

Well I decided to focus on getting a RRA wad gun(PS2100 model). Well I thought I would place an order and wait 6-8 months. Nope, they are not taking anymore orders as of yesterday for the .45's What timing, huh ? Well I went ahead and called yesterday and they said that they had one left in stock. M...

Could not wait, ran through the gun show here in Phx in a half hour to pick up what I needed and headed for the indoor range. All I can say about the M41 is WOW, what a pistol. Acurate as hell, user(disassembly) friendly,(compared to the Rugers that I had in the past). Went through 200 rds of CCI-SV...

Best scope mount placement ?

Hello fellow shooters; Been looking at the RRA wadcutter pistols.(maybe a Christmas present to myself :) ) Question is, frame mounted scope or slide mounted scope ? RRA has what looks like the ability to mount a scope on the slide if needed, but also has open sights mounted on the gun. Reason I ask ...

M41 on the way

Hello all; Just cutting my teeth on BE shooting. Quick question here. Got a new M41 coming and wondered what kind of ammo seems to be the most accurate. I know it depends on the gun, but wondered if there was a general consensus between all of you BE shooters. Something accurate for practice(maybe I...

Thanks Bullseye; A curious question on the M41... Are they still being made(current production)? Is an older model prefered over a newer model per sey ? 7" or 5" preference? Cannot find anything on the web for year of manufacture per serial number. Got my eye on a 7", looks to be a newer model with ...

New to bullseye shooting

Hello to all shooters; Long story short... I have been shooting firearms since I was about 13 years old.(I am now 44). I got into registered skeet shooting three years ago(NSSA#169094) I enjoy shooting to better myself in a discipline. I now want to get back into pistol shooting. I brought out the o...
