Still packing my custom Armscor/RIA phony CCO IN 45acp - probably 75%+ of the time.

Lately the "other carry gun" has been a Walther P99C, or the wallet-that-shoots, a KelTec p32. Swapping to those is pretty rare, either because the CCO is filthy or I need lighter/invisible carry.

Interesting, might check it out

With four 10/22s maybe I could find a home for one, at least.

Beretta once made a version of their tip-up barrel pocket pistol in .22 short with a 4" barrel... I've always wanted one of those. One of the few beretta guns I'm interested in, I'm always on the lookout for one of those at a good price. I believe the model name was the "minx", keeping in the cat-b...

I have had more luck finding shorts than LR in the recent months, actually. Maybe I'm the last person buying them in the world/nation/state/county? 22short is a fun round, so I'm fine if you guys leave them all for me. You can stuff a lot of them in the 22 version of the Henry Mare's Leg (H001ML), t...

They didn't have much info on their site. ... what do you use for priming compound? ... might be fun to fool around with . Well, maybe everything is revealed in the video I cant watch from here ... 1) Site is vague - that's a BIG problem II. What about supplies? What is the primer replaced with? C ...

No big rush, I'll keep an eye peeled. - I've always been interested in the Colt pocket models. I like the early large frame Colts in .38 ACP too. I had a chance to handle/ogle a Colt Pocket Hammer in 38acp when I bought the latest model M, I'd never seen one in the wild before. Impressive, but not ...

Dick's is awful in pretty much regard around here.

They're the bottom of the chain, below all the other chain stores that comprise the bottom of the barrel. Scrape hard enough and you get to Dick's.

I imagine it will look nicer after a good cleaning and hand polishing. Maybe an application of "Renaissance Wax", too. Had to make the choice between shooting it or cleaning it today … so I gave it some lube on the rails and off to the range we went! It shot quite nicely with three different types o...

Agreed! The other one looks good outside until you look for details, sadly many markings are blurred or indistinct after the refinish done who-knows-when by who-knows-who.

Another Model M

I'm not a big fan of Colt in 2014 - but Colt in the first few decades of the 20th century is a different story. Behold, a second Colt pocket hammerless, made in 1916: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3Hwuzv5LZIA/VDrfgvlq8DI/AAAAAAAAR-k/mt09MmOs9b8/w1113-h835-no/IMG_20141012_160706%3Anopm%3A.jpg ht...
