Yo Greener - I have an LC9 and it has functioned 100% for 800+ rounds but have read about the metal shavings in many LC9s. Sorry you are having problems with yours. Seems I read a post where the firing pin hole had some sharp edges thus causing the shavings that muck up the travel of the firing pin....

Amazing how much gunk will accumulate down in the frame. BreakFree Powder Blast does a great job for me.

Thanks greener! Going to add a set of those grips to my 22/45 real soon. Do the slingshot mod - One of the first things I did to mine. Just put the ball & spring aside in case you ever want to switch it back...
