These are the same kind of booger eating morons that happily sign a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide, or end womens' suffrage. There should be a citizenship test, and I should administer it. Some people can't be trusted to vote, breed , or pilot 3000# motorized battering rams in public. Too late...

They hate the US because they want our freedoms and don't have them. Jealousy is a powerful motive. Or who know they may believe that Americans are to blame for all the ills of their homeland. I do know that armed mad men hiding in a residential neighborhood is a perfect example why firearms are im...

Best of luck for a fast turn-around on the S&W. I have heard good of their customer service, but seems to be a rare thing. I was favourably impressed by their (the Canadian Centre's) guy on the phone, Thursday. He didn't try laying blame and didn't try weaseling out of it. He was ready to ship me a...

The pics opened just fine for me. I would give the S&W QA guy a failing grade for customer satisfaction and support. It would not take a lot of extra work to find a media app to open your photos. And that comment about the fact you are in Canada as a hindrance is totally bogus. But even so, I think...

A Tale of Two guns (and the companies that make them)
A tale of two guns. (similar posted on S&WForum) About one and a half years ago I purchased a Ruger 22/45 Mark III (.22 LR) with replaceable panels (I have a few 1911 nice grips). As time went by and I was mentioning to fellow shooters that I felt that "something" was not right with the gun. I felt ...

Larry Potterfield from MidwayUSA has these short stories about a couple of his adventures. I just read them today, coincidentally: Speaking of this Larry Potterfield, he makes the most useless How-To videos on Youtube. If we search for How-to videos it's because we want to learn the details, and no...

As you can see, you just got to play and take them apart to really appreciate all the features of your Ruger 22 Autopistol. After a few tear downs and re-assemblies you will have gained the confidence ... to make all kinds of upgrades. Perhaps you'll even help others not quite as knowledgeable as y...

Range report
I finally shot it today after all the installs. Unfortunately, it was an ISSF session and I, therefore, had to follow the tempo of 5 shots in each of 2x150 secs, 2x20 secs 2x10 secs then 2x5 min then 5 in 2 x 7secs away 3secs facing repeat I may have the opportunity next weekend to get a range to my...

No need, ever, to apologize to me, Bullseye. I am glad that with your help (even hinted at) I was able to do a job I was scared stiff of trying even one small part of, just a few weeks ago. Ruger should really produce two guns for every model one, the CA-style (cheap) the other the VQ-parts. I swear...

The piano spring is not under any tension in its closed position. The trigger pivot pin has a groove in it that when installed depresses the end of the spring and causes the spring to rebound into the groove to lock it in place, the tension is then gone. On the other end where the spring contacts t...
