The Generation 4 Glocks Trigger Assembly has a 5 degree less angle than the previous models & their triggers are a little heavier because of that.. You can buy a - Minus connector & get the pull down by one pound.. I have also heard of a .- connector that Glock is making for some LEO agencies but ha...

That's a great link & tip..
I found that over there a while back but had already bought a Volquartsen for the MKII I was working on then..
For the money that's the only way to go & it's a steel trigger..

I've been inside a few Taurus Revolvers & for the money they are a fine piece.. Don't try an compare them to a Smith & Wesson as they will always fall a little short of their smoother action.. On the 22 you will more than likely have to use the full power mainspring but can use the lighter weight re...

I found a thread at another site that had a scan of Proof house & three pics of the new SP101.. Here they are.. Also note real adjustable rear sight that looks like a smaller GP100s sight not like the older adjustable SP101 type & the fiber optic front.. http://homepage.mac.com/greggg/Ruger_22.jpg h...

I too think these have been a long time coming.. I've seen three different variants of 22lr Ruger SP101s, 1) 4" barrel with full shroud,2) 4" with half shroud barrel & 3) 2 1/4" snubbie.. Also the Hogue grips fit these great & would be my choice for a plinker either rubber or wood.. Ruger SP101s 9mm...

SP101s are great revolvers.. I used to have three of them in my harem.. Here's a picture of two of them with Hogue wooden grips & Gemini Custom Fiber Optic Front Sights.. Also Note SIG P225 & Ruger KMK678GC.. http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/32/fiberopticpistolstk9.jpg The one on the left is a SPNY NY...

I saw a real Liberator this last weekend for sale for BIG BUCKS!!
I'll bet there's guys already aging these in there back yard with water & salt to sell at the shows.. Buyer beware..
There's no way I'd spend $600 on that hunk when you could buy a real gun for less..

You must dry fire the pistol first before trying to unlatch the mainspring, The hammer is now cocked & the hammer strut is fully engaged into the mainspring housing.. You'll need to put an empty magazine into the pistol to drop the hammer if it's a MKIII because of the magazine disconector safety. G...

I notice my Glock 26 which also has the dual type recoil rod assembly like the Gen4 is much nicer to shoot than a standard Glock 19 but I have never shot a nicer feeling Glock than my Longslide G17L..
It the cat's pajamas as far as Glocks goes..

Thanks Guys!! The Glock 17L is 1/2" too long for IDPA & most Glock guys use the Glock 34 which just fits inside the size regulation box.. The longslide is very accurate.. I'll get some measured distance targets next time I'm at the range.. My 17L was made in 1990 & the 26 was made in 1999 = 21 & 12 ...

I haven't shot a Gen4 Glock yet..
But I do have a 2nd Gen G17L & a 3rd Gen G26 that are my favorite centerfire guns that I carry & use for home protection..

I always keep the hammer/striker dropped on my weapons while in storage.. With a 1911 that has one in the chamber the safety would be applied & left at the ready.. You do have to have a plan & stick to it & ALWAYS ASSUME that every gun is loaded until you have check to make sure TWICE that it is unl...

Folks seem to always ask way more than there worth IMO.. They are one of the nicest made revolvers ever made but come on over $4000 for a blued one?? The secret to the Python & the Colt Dick Special is the extra finger that holds the cylinder steady & tight as the trigger is pulled.. The trigger, ha...
