Just a comment......if you buy a 22/45 RP, you will not be able to get the grin off your face. Mine goes to the range with me every time and I tend to shoot if more than anything else. It is the most fun/dollar spent of any gun I have.

I am definitely in on this one......seems like a great way to learn something new! I probably won't post anything for a couple of weeks as we are getting ready to go out of town, but when I get back, I will post my first results - good or bad!

Woo Hoo!

Thanks for the links!

Jeff Quin stated that he measured a 22/45 RP at 1.20" with the grips on and most 1911s measure about 1.27 or 1.28 inches. He stated that if felt just like a stock 1911.

My first 10/22 build

I bought an old beater 10/22 about a year ago to build. I started by purchasing used stuff to keep the cost down and it worked as I only have about $350 in this after selling the unused parts from the donor rifle. The pictures are not too good and I will have better when the weather breaks, but I to...

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that is one ugly pistol. It looks to be fun to shoot though!
