The shotshells are made by CCI and can be purchased @ Midway http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=757831 I chose the shotshells over the glaser slugs because of the background . We walk on neighborhood streets. A missed round could be ugly, and as bad as this sounds, I don't want her ...

I've had one since the begining of the year. It suits it's purpose well, the recoil isn't as bad as you'd think for that light of a gun, 130 gr seem to do well in it. "Felt" recoil with the same ammo in the 2" SP101 actually feels slightly less in the LCR. Fits in a pocket real nice and it's light e...

I never ment to imply that Arizona Game and Fish was supporting this petition. They happened to send it in a email, so I used the link from thier site. Bullseye, you're dead on with your statements. Too bad the light won't go on for a lot of people until it's too late. No question in my mind, defini...

Yep, we pay income taxes, they just went up. Been here about 20 years, and there are days I still can't get used to the heat. Wearing a vest all day is great fun in the summer. I just spent some time in SE Texas, which helped me appreciate the dry heat again. The covering on the pipes is a wrap, lik...

Right now I'm liking the feel of this action, will know more after shooting. It seems like I'm getting 4 pistols in one, but I'll probably mainly shoot the 6" and maybe scope the 8" if it shows promise with the irons. The square butt Smith's are to big for my hands, but this feels great with the rub...

Dan Wesson 15-2VH

Any thing that would make me want to shy away from a pistol pac? Model 15-2HV Monson produced. Was looking at a GP100 for PPC, but then I found, stumbled upon, a new in the box pac at such a good deal that I identified myself and told him that I'd have to run the gun before I bought it and he didn't...

Since you are working with a dovetail on your Glenfield:

Basic front sight is $18, says he'll make it to any height at no extra charge.

OK, so here's a trick I've used for truely home made fire type sights.. Don't crucify me :) String trimmer line, you can get the kind that is made just like the light pipes you can buy and go to about a .120" diameter and also comes in diamond and square, some even bigger for the "4 string walk behi...

I agree with Bearandoldman, modify the plastic one. I would just call Henry and get the "steel" one to have in case you decided the mod wasn't for you... I'm a steel and wood guy myself, rather something that will pass as steel anyway. :) Look at this thread from RFC, the pics may help. http://www.r...

The front sight assembly on your rifle would have to be machined for a dovetail to accept a "standard" front sight. Or you could "add" a small diameter rod, like 3/32" brass or a light pipe to the top of your front sight. Add = epoxy? The height will not have to be changed by much. That being said I...

The old browning t bolt peep sights will fit your grooved receiver and used to be common sights to put on other 22's: http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=25047 Not my ad, just a good pic. That was a good price though, new in box they go for about $80 when they can be found...

Went out and tried ten brass through each one, been over a year, maybe 2, since I've used either.. Both my Lee and RCBS are apparently old enough that there are some slight visible differences than current production models, but the Lee was quicker to set up and use. That and considering current pri...
