Re: Neighborhood Watch

It is legal to walk down the street with a loaded shotgun, not to mention sitting on your own porch with one. When the PC sickness gets so bad that cops are pestering folks exercising their rights, then it's time for those same cops to be videotaped while they receive a stern lecture on that subjec...

I guess prices are dependant on what is in demand. AR prices are rock bottom, ccw and plinkers are up.

My 4" "mountain gun" (tapered barrel with a 1/2 underlug ) really bites withe full 44 mag loads... but with 44 specials it is a dream to shoot.... try loading the 44 mags with trail boss and a 240gr swc and you will have a new favorite plinker.

A silencer on a Smith and Wesson would not work so well.... if it was a Nagant, then it would work great. Seeing as they have the whole gas seal thin going.

Knocking the dust off

Due to parental duties, a long cold snowy winter, recovery from a hand injury, the moon not in the seventh house when Jupiter was aligned with Mars, and any other lame reason I could make up I just have not had a chance to go to the range to shoot.... department qualifications are coming up so I con...

How to know you've found a good Dr.

I went into the Dr's office for a routine check up and after the Dr gave me the once over we chatted a bit. He explained the office's policy in case of infiltration by bad guys is for them to "run and hide", he doesn't agree and instead his plan is to shoot the bad guys with his CCW piece.... also t...

the itty bitty ones do bite a bit in 40... so do the super light J frame .357's. altough my XD Sub compact isn't bad to shoot at all.

I don't think recoil is an issue in a SD shooting its not much more than a hot 9 anyhow.

There's more to that shoot in SC than the stop or the warrants.... he fled on foot and fought with the officer and took his taser from him before the shooting started. I doubt the officer could undo the decision to fire in the time it took the bad guy to turn and run.
