I think this little episode speaks volumes for the integrity of this group. Everyone remained civil and tried honestly to help answer a question. I would venture to say that we may have seen out first troll and handled it with flying colors. Another outstanding performance by the best gun forum on t...

This is gun related- - - - right???

You might have to think twice about this one. A blonde hurried into the emergency room late one night with the tip of her index finger shot off. 'How did this happen?' the emergency room doctor asked her. 'Well, I was trying to commit suicide,' the blonde replied.. 'What?' sputtered the doctor. 'You...

Ruger 22...........in the service will NOT suffice in most cases that I know of regarding the issuing of a CCW permit. If you have a "Dishonorable Discharge" YOU will NOT be issued a permit!!! Same goes for those who are convicted Felon or Criminal!!! I'm not sure I agree with this statement, at le...

If it's a pocket .22 you want in Stainless, look into the North American Arms Group. (http://www.naaminis.com/) They are made in Utah, and very well made. I have the Minny Mag Revolver with an extra .22LR cylinder.

Think about it for a minute!!!! They are almost giving you the permit so I don't think it is to much to ask that you prove that you have the experience necessary to carry a weapon in public. That being said, you can get a copy of your DD 214, to look at, from whatever agency does that for your branc...

When I was competing, and Uncle was buying the ammo, I use to shoot at least 150 rnds / day and Clean the guns once a week. Now that I only shoot a couple times a month, I do a light cleaning each time I use them. Living in Florida, there is always a lot of humidity and one sweats while shooting. Th...

A few years back, I went looking for a PPK for a small defense weapon. The clerk at the gun shop suggested I get the Sig 230 instead as it was more reliable. I took his word for it and bought the 230 in .380. It was a terrific gun. It never had a jam of mis fire in the 3 years I kept it. It was very...

Quote Wait until we get a real flu pandemic. Then you will get to watch your children die because a bunch of fools "stocked up" on flu vaccine. They have hundreds of doses they will never be able to use because they are "smart" and thought ahead. Same principle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...

When I started shooting there wasn't much other than ear plugs. Little rubber ones, some sonic things that were suppose to close off with the loud noises etc.. Shortly thereafter we started mooching ear muffs of the jet mechanics (I still have a pair of them) but to little to late!!! For those of yo...

And robbing a BK? Was he a total idiot? The time for the crime is the same, so if he's going to risk jail, he might as well go after more serious cash. I may be wrong, but based on what little the story actually said, that's my 2 cents. You obviously are not aware of the way things are in southern ...

My all time favorite was a 1961 Ruger modified be James Clark Sr. It had a 8 to 10 in bull barrel that had a milled in muzzle break. That was the only gun I ever had that I cleaned a 25 yd slow fire target with. It a long time gone but I would love to have it today... I would mount it in a place of ...

From what I have read and what I can filter out from the media, congress and the present administration have no immediate plans to take our weapons or ammunition. (They have enough problems to keep them otherwise engaged for a while) One or two rogue senators propose a bogus bill that hasn't got a s...

Re: LCI Not Required

BTW: Anyone shooting a modified weapon should be aware that in the event of a injury to someone, there could be a liability. (Even if only a fool would consider the injury and the modification to be related) Sounds like something that would happen here in Central Fl... We seem to have more than our...
