new sp-101

From the looks of the pictures it appears that the cylinder is long enough to accept a magnum round. Any word on chambering? Thanks

scope for t-bolt

I have a t-bolt sporter on its way to me and obviously I will have to scope it. I want to maintain the sleek lines of the rifle. I have looked at the Weaver rimfire line and probably leaning that way. Are there any other scopes that I should look at that are in the same general price range? Thanks i...

Mark III mag release

I recently purchased a Mk III Talo hunter and have put in the Clark bushing, a VQ sear and trigger along with a LCI filler piece. No problem at all with the mods, everything works as it should and the pistol functions as it should. I do have one minor aggravation that I would like to fix and would l...

Mark III Talo Hunter

I received the above pistol a couple of weeks ago. I have installed the Clark bushing, a VQ sear and the replacement plate for the LCI. I have a nice crisp trigger with no creep that I can notice. I do have however about a 1/4" of pretravel. Is this normal on these pistols. Any fix short of a new tr...

Mk III

I have a Mk III in transit and should receive this week. I have ordered a Clark hammer bushing for a MK II to get rid of the magazine disconnect and am wondering if the LCI should be replaced with a filler plate. Although I consider the LCI useless, its not so offensive to me that I feel the need th...

Will the new black plastic or hard rubber grips work on a mid seventies single six? Thanks Shelby Chastain

10-22 magnum barrel

Just acquired a 10-22 MAGNUM bbl in a gun trade. I have no use for it and am wondering if it has any value. Looks perfect internally and has at least 98% blue on outside. What should I ask for it. Thanks Shelby Chastain

39m sight

Check out Skinner sights. www.skinnersights.com Super good looking sight. Easy to install. In most cases your can use your existing frone sight. Not connected to Skinner in any way but a very satisfied customer. Hope this helps. Shelby Chastain

An educational Saturday

I received in the mail today the VQ Target Trigger and the Target Sear for my 5.5 bull bbl MKII. Following Bullseyes excellent instruction I was able to install both in a reasonable amount of time. After reassembly the hammer wouldn't release. Lesson number 1--Install new parts one at a time so in c...

MKII trigger creep

I recently obtained a MKII with a 5.5 bull bbl. Trigger pull is good (3-3 1/2 lbs) but has creep that is very irritating to me. Is the best fix an upgraded sear or trigger or both. If trigger is to be replaced should I go with the Volquartsen or Marvel ? Thanks in advance. Shelby Chastain
