update...
Well I have not bedded and pillered it yet. I did the set screw trick as you said. I think it will help. When I started playing with the torque settings. I could see the barrel/ stock gap widening. Then drastically narrowing when I started tightening the front screw. I experimented with thin flat 5/...

I have the CZ 452 Varmint. I took out the front barrel lug a couple days and it seemed to make a huge difference. I didn't have a lot of time, but with a good 15-20mph quartering tailwind it grouped super nice at 25yds. I'd say.25-.35 I'm guessing with the uncalibrated eye. The holes were slightly l...

Piller bedding a CZ 452!
My CZ has great potential, some days good, some bad. I have noticed the barrel shifts in the stock. I'm going to have to piller and bed. SO what are the best pillers to buy?

Cleaning Vises???
I've never used one, but thinking of getting one maybe Tipton best vise since I have an AR. They look like they would make it much easier to get rods smoothly through and help speed up the process and minimize the chances of damage. Any thoughts or expericence ????

Old Winchester 67A
Does anyone know the best way to remove the old iron sights on this old thing. Or should I take it to a gunsmith? I'm preparing to refinish and I'd like to put new sights on it after I get a nice blue finish on it. I think some target peeps would be cool. Its a youth model that was my dads first gun...

Nice shooting Kaz, first time out! Not bad at all. What set up are you using. I just got into the BR shooting myself. I had made several post as to what was good and inexpensive gun to get. I got the CZ 452 varmint. I really don't entend to compete with the big boys. I just cant afford that equipmen...

You helped a while back with the torque setting on the action. I expecting my torque screwdriver today. Now what is a good # for scope and rings? I'm having to send in my scope for repairs, but whoever tightened this thing did it very very tight. Assuming I get it off, what # is a good # for remount...

Front and rear bag...nothing special....Well Walmart Special I guess. I think at 25yds there should be one ragged hole no bigger than 1/4in. and the same at 50 no bigger than 1/2. But I do see a benefit of 25yds to reduce wind variables. Its a little tough at 25 because my scope has a lot of paralax...
