After a bit of net searching I determined that this mag is for a High Point pistol. For an inexpensive gun these mags are surely expensive.....can be had anywhere from $20 to $50.

Hope this helps someone.

Question

Does anyone know which gun utilizes this magazine? I was given two, one in 9mm and the other in 40.

Thank you,

Sorry to hear your M1A didn't make your "must keep" list. I can not imagine life without my PolyTech! Yes it is a bit heavy but it is a tac driver, par excellence.

oldman, I have a number of accurate rifles but I'd still like a longer, accurate upper for my Palmetto. Uppers like the RRA are about $550 and that's not a bad price, if the accuracy is there.

I am looking for an AR15 upper with a SS 24" bull barrel for max accuracy. What are your suggestions?

Vacation talk

I've finally returned home from a month long vacation to Italy and Greece. What's incomprehensible to me is that most Europeans are dead set against citizenry owning guns. After heated multiple hour long + discussions it became evident to me that their disdain for guns has become a dogma that can't ...

My cynical self says "Democrats vs. Republicans is the same as trying to decide between Pepsi and Coke". They are both Colas with very little substantive differences and they will both prove bad to your health. What we absolutely need to become healthy is water not Cola! Political parties love to ha...

Why do I want one?

I've recently been coveting a Bird's Head gripped Ruger. Don't know why, other than I like the way it looks and feels in the hand. I have two old style SS Vaqueros in 45LC I don't use much and thought, well maybe I ought to trade one in for a BH, same gun except for the grip. Are there any advantage...

I too have had negative experiences in AR15.com and m4Carbine.net so it's good to be around GTO's civil AR15 crowd. No doubt the above forums have a certain knowledge base but putting up with their pains is not worth what I get out of them. Bullseye does extremely well at striking the right balance ...

I can’t say that my shooting has taken a hit because I shoot just about every weekend at the property, in either rifle or pistol. But I have curtailed 22lr and 22mag ammo use because I don’t want to shoot up what I have at hand until I see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. I took a diff...

Times are still tough in ammo land. The place where I buy ammo products for reloading now opens only once per week, the shelves are empty and he's not had Varget powder in over a year cause he can't get it. It's still crazy and don't know when it'll let up, if ever.

blue, the 5/6/7gr recipes are effective as well (saw no problems on the bolt whatsoever), especially for varmint because they are pretty close to and a bit above the 22Mag. All in all I am happy with this experiment.

blue, thank you for sharing this info, and unfortunately I read your post after I had finished shooting my reduced loads so I didn't follow your instructions but it all turned out well, anyway. I had no primer issues at all, nor were there signs of excessive pressure. A sample of one is not statisti...

Quick report after shooting; excellent results with 10gr, 8 gr, and even 5gr chargers of 800x on both the 45gr SRN & 53gr Vmax. Very accurate loads and mild recoil with no pressure signs whatsoever manifesting. The 4gr loads were ok with the Vmax keyholing at 100 yards, while the SRN holding its own...
